Long Run

This morning did an easy 12km. Really hot and quite windy today. Got some blisters at about halfway also which was a pain. Did it in about 58 minutes so no worries there. Rest day tomorrow as  running club training has been moved to Tuesdays and Thursdays. Got All-Schools races next weekend so looking forward to that as well.

  1. You shouldn't be getting blisters on a 12km run. Sounds like you need a new pair of shoes that fit better.
    Reading through the blog, it looks as thought the running is going really well. You will soon be under 38 minutes for the 10km. Sounds as though you prefer the longer distances to the short races. Perhaps a half marathon is on the cards ?

  2. Yeah maybe I do need some new shoes... I'll think about investing in a pair. Yeah I do prefer the longer races, but a Half Marathon is a pretty big undertaking at my age. I might have a go at the Melbourne Half next year, but I'll see what the year brings before making a commitment.
